Distant Connections

A young girl is submitted to an insane asylum when she begins to scream in the middle of her classes, with no possible explanation. A young boy has been kidnapped and is being tortured for his parent's crimes. For some reason these two share a deep and complex psychic link, and through this link the two come to know each other as the girl escapes the institution in order to track him down and rescue him from his tormentor. Will she be in time to save him? Will she be able to stop the murderer of her family from getting away with it, and taking the family inheritance?

The True World

Everyone believes that the world they see is the world that is there... However, this isn't the case. The world that most people see is only about half of the truth, for the other half would be way too scary for their minds to comprehend. Behind the layers of what Normals see, there is the True World, made up of all the Magickal and Supernatural creatures that litter history's mythology and legends. But the only people who can see this are called the Awoken, people who have been a Magickal or Supernatural creature in a past life, or were born as one in this life. Amongst them all are the Dreamers, people who have not been brought into the Awoken state, but are of the same kind as the Awoken... When a girl who is only Half-Awoken, or Dream-Walking, has been fully Awoken, how will she deal with this new world that she finds herself in? Even as she is looked to, to save it...
